Biafra: Kanu came into Nigeria without any passport, says Buhari

Photo: Olatunji Obasa President Muhammadu Buhari has said the leader of the Independent People of Biafra and Director, Radio Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, came into Nigeria from the United Kingdom without any passport and with sophisticated equipment for his radio station. Ambode's convoy apprehends Airforce cadets for locking boy in car trunk

The convoy of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode on Wednesday apprehended two Airforce cadets i n Mile 12 area of the State while dehumanizing an artisan, Dahiru Lawal for allegedly breaking the windscreen of a Chrysler Stratus car with registration number KRD 267 DV. The cadets – Peters O. Solomon and Abdullahi Fahad, who claimed to be Airforce personnel attached to the Airforce Base in Ikeja, had forced Lawal in the boot of their car after dragging him on the ground for the said offence. Governor Ambode, who was returning from an inspection visit to Agbowa in Ikorodu, saw the situation and swiftly intervened to save Lawal who was gasping for breath. The Governor wondered how such inhuman treatment could be meted to a fellow citizen just for slightly breaking the windscreen of a car.

TONGUES are wagging in Ijare, Ifedore council area of Ondo state over the death of 20 year old National Diploma (ND)  Science Laboratory Technology (SLT) student of the state owned Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, Wunmi Agbeluyi after a herbalist allegedly helped her to terminate the pregnancy. However, detectives in the Ondo State Police command have picked up  the herbalist who allegedly put the deceased in the family way and in a desperate bid to terminate the pregnancy gave her some concoction to drink in order to flush it down . He is currently being quizzed at the Special Investigative Bureau (SIB).

Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, has threatened to expose all those, irrespective of their social stand, that are indicted in the N1 trillion rail contract scam. Dogara said this yesterday December 10th while declaring open the ongoing investigative hearing into the railway scam that ran into billions of US dollars from 2010- 2015.
